Designer Dupe App

This app was created for our client as a group collaboration with other Elon University students. My group had to brainstorm a concept for our app. We did research and thought of an idea that would keep up with today’s trends. My idea was to create an app called “Designer Dupe” where users could create their own profile and search for cheaper versions of more high end products. Users can leave reviews and let other users know what they think is the better option to purchase. My group used Adobe XD to create prototypes for the layout of the app. Next, we decided on a color scheme and divided up different parts of the app to work on. My focus was the logo and icons which were created in Adobe Illustrator. I also put together the overall layout of the app once the prototype was created. Some challenges my group ran into were trying to create an app that was different and not seen before. We solved this issue by conducting a lot of research to see what has already been made.

Below are two prototypes of our app in action. To the left, is the splash screen once you enter the app. On the right, is a run through of our entire app.
